I mean, THE SHEER NUMBER of drabbles NEARLY qualifies this to be long fic! I pretty much BEAMED when I saw Kunimitsu and Yoshi together because they are TEH ULTIMATE canon crack het pairing that is kinda canon and kinda not, and crack, for the sheer fact they're MECHANICAL SPACE NINJAS. Well only Yoshi, BUT THE IMPLICATIONS.
And NINA and Steve, MY SECRET WEAKNESS OF bad kickass mothering. It would go exactly like this, and somehow you ripped the thoughts right from my brain. I too kept thinking, 'but Steve's hair is too skanky to be Nina's...' though this dueled with the thought that Nina's hair is probably that colour blonde when she doesn't peroxide it to death. I love the idea of Steve being callously overlooked. I just do. Because I love angst when it's unspoken.
GOD, BAEK AND HWOARANG FTW. IT WOULD GO JUST SO. Rent!boy Hwoarang's last desperate plea and Baek using his young supple body not for dirty unpure molestation but for HARD WORK and determined physical drive for the pureness of martial art. I don't think Hwoarang's ever forgiven Baek for turning him down though. it's probably made him develop a Complex.
LEE AND KAZUYA, haven't read fic about in ages that struck me with the sense of TRUE and these do. I love how drabbles make it necessary to put things so sparsely, which is just the way I like to read about this pairing. Longer prose makes things complicated for these two.
