Oh, man, I'm such a hurt/comfort junkie! I'm reading this going "Oh noes, his little shoulder, what happened to his little shoulder?!"

Excellent read, as always. It's interesting to see what parts of his angelic nature hold fast, and what aspects of humanity take over. No sleeping and sweating, but he seems to feel thirst...could hunger be far behind?
