I'm glad you liked it! In this 'verse I believe Anna would have waited because we've had plenty of evidence that, even up to the Apocalypse, it was difficult for angels to confront the implication of turning their backs on Heaven for selfish pursuits like love (family, romantic, i.e. any other kind that wasn't for the praise of God). In my head, I'm keeping it in line with the show -- that Anna carved out her grace because she didn't like what was going on in Heaven (and saw the good in humanity), but she also fell to follow another angel she was in love with.
