1) The climax of Swan Lake when he's rearranging the items of his desk. Bruce hadn't sampled live classical theatre since that night in the back alley, but with Alfred's encouragement – and company – he found himself at a travelling production of Swan Lake fifteen years on. He shouldn't have enjoyed it as much as he did.
2) Sometime through his shampoo rinse Bruce has started mumbling the notes for Dream a Little Dream. He wonders if Rachel is working late on a case tonight.
3) Screaming down the freeway in the Batmobile in pursuit of a serial "hit-and-mugger", he's humming Somewhere Over the Rainbow as he takes a sharp right and wonders if he'll make it back to the mansion on time for dinner. Motion on his dashboard brings his attention to the fact that he's forgotten to turn off the videophone; Alfred's smile is wide as he waves in farewell. Bruce quickly terminates the connection and shifts into fourth gear.
4) His pilots have been playing My Way on the intercom and at the time he didn't have the heart to tell them how much he hates that song, but he wishes he had when he's signing the contract of his latest takeover bid and realises he's humming it aloud. Noting the silence, Bruce slowly raises his head and notices all eyes are on him. The representative from Luthor Corp. looks unimpressed and Bruce flashes her a brilliant smile.
5) "I went down, down, down and the flames went higher...." Bruce perches on the roof corner of the dilapidated apartment block, scanning one of Gotham's darker streets when he catches the flash of light blue in his peripheral. His words soften to humming under his breath as he hears the flap of that heavy rouge cape and belatedly realises there's nothing the Man of Steel won't hear himself.
"So, you finally gave Johnny Cash a chance." Bruce can hear the grin in Superman's voice and feels himself scowl deeply.
"You didn't just drop by for your vinyl, did you?" With the cape and cowl his words are instinctively harsh, so he tries again. Turning away from his vantage of the streets, Bruce regards the barely concealed caution on Superman's face. "Because I auctioned them for charity two months ago. Top seller."
Bruce doesn't think many people have witnessed the look of Superman deadpanned.

"That was a joke," he growls.
