THREE SENTENCE AU MEME
Give me pairings (or characters). Give me an AU setting. I will write you a three-sentence fic.

I will also finally be responding to comments and getting down to work on the draft of xmenbigbang this morning. I have a week (and a clear outline, thankfully). Stranger miracles have happened. ;P

The story will follow the Brotherhood after the end of X-Men: First Class with background Charles/Erik, Erik/Raven, Azazel/Riptide, and Alex/Hank/Sean, but they're incidental to the story.

What are people's opinions on listing background character relationships when the movement is primarily gen?

And I kind of love the things you prompt, so fear not -- I already have a Big Mafia AU planned, but let's see what I can summarise in three sentences for you here wherein I break grammar rules for convenience.

“They started on you when you were ten: two brothers, the football star and the prefect, Commissioner Daddy, and then there was you,” Zachariah hums with interest, leafing through the substantial manila file, “It says here that you told your fifth grade English teacher you wanted to be a doctor -- but instead your Dad had you shooting guns when you should have been shooting hoops, am I right?”

“It didn’t take,” Adam says, shrugging.

The medicine, he meant, though it’s a bald-faced lie that Zachariah easily side-steps and he gestures significantly with Adam’s razor, “I know.”

I think it's impossible for me to dislike anything you ever write, and the Prom!AU has a special place in my heart because it's for me, but if you ever want to expand any of these (after big bang madness, of course) this would be the one! Or, you know, Mob!AU, since I could get all the characters being gorgeously murderous in that, too. ;)

As I said, though, whatever you write ends up a breath of fresh air, so I'm perfectly okay with being patient. ♥

I'm glad you liked it, lovely! I enjoy the idea that Castiel would be possessive, stuck between Dean and Gabriel; I'm sure he'd quickly learn to enjoy it and extend his claim to Dean, too. ;]

You are so sweet to me, you really are. <33333 I would love to expand on these 'verses, but the easiest way may be to actually attack it through more 3 sentence prompts; they're quick, bite-sized snapshots, and I don't have to worry about them sitting on a back burner. Unf, Adam with a razor never gets old. I love his interaction with Zachariah here - am I weird in that I kind of ship them? But then you know I ship Adam/everyone - and now I'm craving Mafia!AU that much more, if at all possible. Which it shouldn't be, tbh. WHERE ARE MY LIMITS, CHUCK???

I loooooove this! Mischievous Adam, floundering Lucifer, the passing mention of Dean being a former troublemaker in the same class - all of it - burns with the passion of a million suns, inside me! That's a detention session I'm definitely intrigued about. :D

You're opening up the floodgates, darling, but I'm going to sorely resist my temptation to ask for all of them getting expanded for a few: prison AU, Prom AU (because, come on, it's my precious) and teacher/student AU. After all, I need to see what happens during detention; the devil won't let himself be beaten that easily, right? If you need specificity by way of prompts, I can probably think something up, but I'm a bad prompter and you're consistently amazing when left alone with your brilliance, so...

But make sure XBB is your priority. As I've said, I'm excited about anything you write, and waiting for one or the other doesn't strain my patience whatsoever. ♥

Lol, Adam/Everyone.... There are no limits.

Someone actually pointed out that Zachariah was to Adam what Castiel was to Dean; sure Castiel pulled Dean out of the ground, but I think Zachariah was the one who resurrected him and became the angel on Adam's shoulder; before stabbing him in the back. And I am not ageist, but I wasn't fond of his last vessel -- Zachariah himself is an ass XD -- so I wouldn't mind Adam/Zachariah if he were in a younger vessel. It would be spiteful and abusive. /would not mind this either

In this scene, Adam was pulled aside at the restaurant of 'The Host' where Zachariah is the Maître d' - but the fact the restaurant is also a front for Other Business is the subject of much dispute (and yes, it is owned by Michael). It is an ACTUAL and known fact that Adam is the illegitimate son of the Police Commissioner - but I'm thinking of changing it to Captain of the local precinct, which is why Zachariah pulls him aside in the restaurant.

Mafia!AU /= Prison!AU, but I love to romp in both. I'd prefer to write Prison!AU in snippets, I think it'll work best that way, but Mafia!AU will get the full treatment.

Thank you, bb! ^^ Dean IS half the reason Adam acts up at school. The sweet kid is in there, too, though I'm not sure how long it would take for him to let down the tough new kid exterior and let people in on the secret. That detention session would probably be less trouble than Lucifer expects. ;]

I think I know who you're talking about! I'm going to spell her username wrong, so I won't even try with code (smargbrd? something like that?), but she wrote some wonderful Adam/Zachariah fics and told me they were Destiel 2.0, lol.

I agree, I feel they would be a very twisted couple, but half the fun is exploring how twisted, no? One of my WIPs has side Adam/Zachariah that eventually metamorphoses to Adam/Lucifer and he's still pretty terrible, personality-wise, in it, but I can see them happening, no matter how bad the outcome. Although, I second you on the new vessel thing. Another person said Matt Bomer should be Zachariah revamped, which I honestly wouldn't think of opposing. ;D

Every glimpse I get into your head, I'm more and more tempted to look into permanent real estate. Whatever you do with these two AUs, it'll be a thrilling ride, I can already tell. ♥

That only intrigues me MORE, tbh. Ah, the different aspects that make up Adam, from curious blends of his brothers to a person all his own. It's such a fun playground with nearly limitless opportunities.

Has XBB been flowing well? If you want to go even faster, writing during lunch might be the way to go and I'm sure it'll all be worth it when it's done, posted and lavishing under the praise of all. ;D
