Thanks for the rec, I had a read and it reminded me that I've been sweet on Alice/Carlos since the second movie, but haven't done anything about it until Extinction. I must be behind on the angst, but it never struck me that Alice was 'doomed in love' as she couldn't even kiss without infecting someone.[1]
We all know it academically (it's why she is supah!), but I completely forgot she shouldnt be schmoozing with anyone OR sharing spoons over dinner. This has since been fixed above!
