Oh, I'm so happy you updated! This verse continues to intrigue me. What does Castiel know/remember? Is he still all angel, or have things shifted? And is it just me, or is the end of this piece sort of delightfully creepy? At least from John's point of view as he watches this strange kid in the dark counting and counting and counting.

I really love this story.
