I LOVE YOU GAIS. THE CRACK. MAY IT NEVER END.
This post is in follow-up to the fifteen characters meme that went up a few days ago. You guys probably have no idea how much your scenarios and accidental pairings made me laugh or ooh at their unintentional awesome.
I mean, Lucifer/Raphael/Caprica!Six? I don't think I would have encountered this notion so soon by myself.
I have to warn you, if you haven't seen what's been aired of Battlestar Galactica or Supernatural to date, there will be spoilers afoot!
The original meme:
1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.
2) Ask your f'list to post questions in the comments. For example: 'One, nine and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?' 'Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?' 'Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?' 'Write a drabble in which three and eleven fight crime.' (...possibly not technically a question.)
3) After your f'list has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.
Here are the characters I chose:
1. Kara Thrace (Battlestar Galactica)
2. Leoben Conoy (Battlestar Galactica)
3. Gaius Baltar (Battlestar Galactica)
4. Caprica (Six) (Battlestar Galactica)
5. Sam Winchester (Supernatural)
6. Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
7. Adam Milligan (Supernatural)
(info on the following SPN incarnations of the angels from 8-12 can all be found in Wiki's compressed article here)
8. Michael (Supernatural)
9. Lucifer (Supernatural)
10. Gabriel (Supernatural)
11. Raphael (Supernatural)
12. Balthazar (Supernatural)
13. Castiel (Supernatural)
14. Bobby Singer (Supernatural)
15. Ellen Harvelle (Supernatural)
Can I just say how impressed I was that although I only picked four characters from Battlestar Galactica, you guys managed to hit at least one 99% of the time? Luv luv, guys, luv luv.

Leoben/Castiel: They decide to elope. Why wouldn't they want a ceremony?
This is a fricking amazing pairing that probably wouldn’t happen outside of my or
ravenspear’s brains, but if this Cylon apostle of the one true God and angel of the Lord were to hook up, they’d probably elope because Dean would be bearing after Leoben with his shotgun and Castiel would have no patience for Leoben’s bemusement, though Leoben would have infinite patience to bear Dean’s temper. If Leoben can handle Kara Thrace, Leoben can outlast anyone (as long as there’s a resurrection ship nearby).
Michael and Sam don't get along. Why not?
Well! :D Not too surprisingly, Michael and Sam probably don’t get along because Sam is a secondary concern in Michael’s canon master plan to smite his most smiteable brother for whom Sam was destined to be puppeted. Besides, Michael wanted Dean and Sam was on-side with the strategy to backhand the angels’ plan in the face. They were just two people who wanted very different things.
Caprica and Lucifer are planning their first date. Where do they go and why?
Omg, the epic. The moving art. The blinding beauty. My brain cannot contain it. Okay, I’ve taken a breath, phew – I think Caprica and Lucifer would be such an interesting couple because they could be both polarised, but joined, by their love or abhorrence for humanity and its potential. They both think big and for the long-term, so I think for their first date they would want to go somewhere special, somewhere beautiful: considering Caprica is a devout believer of Lucifer’s father, if it was within Lucifer’s power, I think he would take her to Heaven. Or perhaps, Eden.
Kara and Raphael are expecting. Who's the mommy?
Wow, you have done an uncanny job of picking a pregnancy question for one of the few females on this list; go, psychic powers! For lulz, I am making this femme!Raphael so I have one fortuitously femmeslash accident on the meme and as if a pregnant Raphael being even more bitchy and aggressive wouldn’t be the funniest thing since inflatable mallets? Plus, you may not know Kara, but she could either freak out even worse, or really step up and bully Raphael into accepting her help whether the angel wanted it or not. I like to think it would be the second option.
Gaius just murdered someone. Would Adam help him cover it up or turn him in?
Seriously, your accidental crossovers of my Battlestar Galactica and Supernatural choices know no bounds of awesome. Gaius is the most hysterical, self-preserving prat you will ever meet and I totally see him accidentally murdering someone and tripping into one of his tearful omg-how-why-what-what? moments of despair. But it’s okay! Because Adam would calm him down and patiently, with superior Eagle Scout reason, convince Gaius that the most sensible and contradicting self-preserving course of action would be to turn himself in, and Adam would be there, supporting him. Sure, he’d have to work against Gaius’ inner and sexually persuasive hallucination of Caprica telling him the exact opposite, but I think Adam would try to convince Gaius to turn himself in, and, failing that, turn him in himself.

Caprica and Adam are set up on a blind date by Gaius
I’m thinking that Gaius Baltar has a not-so-secret streak of sadism in setting up the stunning and intense-in-every-way love of his life with young Adam Milligan. Gaius would probably expect Adam to be eaten alive by Caprica’s intensity and the confronting way in which she challenges people to self-reflect, but this is also the way she can inspire the best and strongest qualities in people to shine. I think Gaius could be disappointed to find Adam enjoying her company like a slow burning house on fire.
Castiel and Ellen are in jail. How did they get there? How do they get out?
Castiel and Ellen are in jail because Ellen tried to intervene when the foolhardy angel chased every citizen out of house and home after cleaning out every liquor store in the county on a drinking binge. The war is not going so well. There was much shouting and explosions of glass, but, thankfully, Ellen is one of those people who can withstand the true voice of an angel (besides, some glass in her clothes is nothing after exploding herself with a homemade bomb) and Castiel was too drunk to resist arrest when the sheriffs rolled back into town. Ellen collects her due by watching Castiel be sick through the night and not doing too much to help from her adjoining cell. Unfortunately, she's a soft heart and eventually takes pity on him somewhere near morning just before Bobby comes to bail them out.

Lucifer, Caprica and Raphael are in a relationship. Dean is pregnant with Caprica’s child (wow, I love the accidental mpreg and role reversal here) and wants to become part of the family. How does that happen and what becomes of Dean?
I’ll be honest, if there was ever going to be any woman amazing enough to impregnate Dean, it would have been Caprica; watch the show if you don’t believe me. She’s smooth, seductive and fiercely intense – she’s a lot like Lucifer, actually, but without the subtext; she is completely above board. I’m actually enamoured by the idea that Lucifer and Caprica would slowly peel away Raphael’s defences, that Caprica would be that gentle force coaxing Raphael to forgive Lucifer, to accept his destiny (whatever that may be) and rediscover God’s love between them.
Caprica is a Cylon, part of an artificial race obsessed with finding ways to procreate to extend their survival, so I’m calling Cylon ex Machina on this one. The theory of Cylon procreation is that there needs to be love for it to take root and it’s proven very hard for most characters not to fall in love with Caprica while she was trying to help them find their way and / or accept their role in God’s larger plan. But I don’t think Dean would let the new science come to term, I think he’d get his own angel pals to intervene and undo whatever Caprica had put in him, even if it was the testament to something they shared – especially once he discovered that he wasn’t the only one she was preaching to. Like Dean so often is, I think he’d be torn at the thought of losing a part of her, but he’d bury it deep beneath the alcohol and denial like all the other painful things in his life.
Caprica would love these men and angels for as long as they let her, for as long as she believed it was God’s plan.
Ellen and Gaius are in love, but must stop Gabriel from destroying the planet with the help of Leoben. Do they like Leoben or hate him and which planet are they on?
This is intriguing. I could never think of these things on my own.
They’re on Earth – the 13th Colony – and deciding whether or not to let Gabriel, the harbinger of the apocalypse, blow his horn and signal the beginning of judgment day. Leoben, another Cylon prophet, is precisely one of those characters that you either love or hate. I don’t think Ellen could trust Leoben as far as she could quite considerably throw him and Gaius would defer to her instincts (because he commonly prefers to let other people make all the decisions and wear any subsequent blame, unless he believed they're imbeciles), but Ellen would defer to the greater good if it meant calling a temporary truce for a common goal.
Kara and Adam are about to enter an arranged marriage, but one (or both) are madly in love with Bobby, who is obsessed with Sam and is carrying Balthazar's child.
THE CRACK. MAY IT NEVER END. I have no idea what is happening here with the mess of feelings around Bobby, but I’m compelled to pursue it. It’s about time Bobby got some love.
Neither Kara nor Adam grew up with a present father figure and Bobby became that for them from a young age. However, they both misplaced the desperate desire for a father with something more carnal that Bobby had to sit them down on separate occasions and dissect, then dissuade, when they came of age and were brave enough to broach the subject with him. It doesn’t help that Bobby had his own guilty obsession with another person not much older than either of them who also considered Bobby like a father: Sam.
Bobby’s resigned himself to being alone rather than act on any of these desires and become a thing he would detest, thus he agreed to Balthazar’s hairbrained idea to be the first of a new and experimental weapon using Bobby’s soul and a part of Balthazar’s grace because Balthazar wouldn’t trust anyone else with the secret and Castiel had enough moral hang-ups on his mind. It’s not a child, really, but when the spell has settled and the two halves have finished merging there will be something more than human, not quite angel, for Balthazar to unleash to the battlefield. Or so he thinks. Funny, I actually wrote this before seeing the 6x18, I want to make a bad pun about dynamic progeny, but I really shouldn't.
Gabriel is miniaturised to 15cm tall and bought from the store by Raphael as a gift for Michael. What happens to Gabriel? Does he get his normal size back or remain as a shortie? Why was he turned? Does he know Michael and Raphael?
TROLOLOLOL....! XD
For the purposes of this meme, when angels die, they don’t cease to exist, but their matter is transformed; nothing really dies. When Gabriel was killed, he became the effigy of Saint Gabriel, a porcelain mantle piece of himself on a store shelf among dozens of other statues. This intervention of God is a sick punishment, but as a kindness, he’s held in stasis, unaware, in this form. During one of Raphael’s quieter moments wandering to collect his thoughts before Lucifer and Michael’s final battle, he stops at one of the storefront’s windows and sees this porcelain impression of Gabriel. In a moment of nostalgia, he takes it (he doesn’t pay) and gives it to Michael to meditate upon before the final battle. Conflicted between the pain of Gabriel’s recent loss and his betrayal, Michael shatters the statue during an argument and Gabriel is restored to his vessel, alive and whole.
What happens next, I’ll leave you to speculate, but it’s safe to say that Gabriel recognises his brothers just fine. ;]
