She's the one thing standing still in the swarming chaos of the infirmary with her white lab coat, soft brown hair and her careful, curious eyes; Perin feels an unfounded pang of familiarity and wonders if the cracked ribs are impacting his lungs.
She checks the drip in his arm and when her fingers brush his skin, they both realise he's shaking, so she looks up into his face and stops, startled.
"... You," They both say.
