I've been intermittently packing house for a week and the day job had consumed my brain.

The writing mojo must return. Surely, a porn-a-thon is the key? (No, my current project is gen, but words are words....)

Adrenaline and crises: So, you just saved the world from a zombie apocalypse? We think you're looking pretty heroic in silhouette against that sunrise with the machine gun on your hip. Alternate Universes: Mafia, prison, college, military, the same rules but with role reversal: you name it, I'll love it. Sensory deprivation, overload or enhancement: As humans we only have five senses. How do we compensate when we can't see? Or hear? Or maybe when we feel too much? And if you're being pulled aside by someone not altogether human themselves, are those five senses going to cope? I love it when the senses are challenged in startling ways and the battle for coherency goes quickly downhill.

Marathon: Because it's been something of a running joke in my circle, lately (yo ho, these puns). Make it exhaustive. Make it punishing.

Totally. Worth. The Wait.

You and I must have been traveling some similar wave length because literally the night before, I was wondering why I hadn't seen any dom!Adam/Michael. AND THEN YOU GAVE ME THIS and I've been thrown somewhere between victory and insufferable happy.

I love Michael's self-deprecation, Adam's attention to his scars (plus the fact that they manifested in Michael's mortal form), and Michael's conditioned response to bend to someone who can give orders -- ngh guh, melted. This is my favourite new dynamic, expect to see it recycled ad nauseum for the forseeable future.

I know. Lady and me weren't helping with how much we kept niggling you to read it.

Dom!Adam/Michael (or dom!Adam/any angel) is my dirty little filthy not-so-secret kink. Especially the more fucked up version of them, even thought the happy powerplay between them in brain melting in itself. And recycle it with pleasure.

I need more of this in my life. I never realised how much I loved dom!Adam... or maybe I just forgot? Somehow, the more toxic it is, the better. I think that's what I'm doing wrong with my attempts in writing tonight. Away with all kindness! I think I'm going to have to change what I'd originally planned to write for you, because that idea just isn't translating tonight.

Dom!Adam is a hot beautiful thing. And the more toxic he gets, the less he cares, which makes it so much fun. He is also more ridiculously fun to write that way, even though he scares me.
