The 'Five Things' Challenge!

Comment on this post with a 'five things' prompt for one of the fandoms listed below and I will answer with five alternate responses to the prompt, e.g. "Five People Rodney Banned From His Lab" (Stargate Atlantis), "Five Times Batman Called on Nightwing for Help" (Batman), "Five Things Gabriel Misses of Heaven" (The Prophecy), etc.

As this is very experimental, five prompts will be available per fandom -- if this works well the number might expand the next time around. Lurkers welcome, I don't have to know you if you'd like to request something. You can request as many as you like, so long as it's still available on the list.

1) In yonder year, Jack was trained at the hand of Arabia's finest swordsmen and his skill was so flourished, his diplomacy so beguiling that they begged him to grace them as their tribal head. He declined out of respect for the true royal bloodline and was much revered - the only reason why Barbossa and Will might better him these days is that he enjoys his rum so well.

2) Jack is the crowned regent in twelve countries, nine islands and five principalities across the seven seas. He thinks himself a very benevolent ruler.

3) The sash Jack uses to bind his hair was a gift from the daughter of China's Emperor.

4) Jack once negotiated the freedom of his entire crew and himself from the clutches of sirens and mer-behemoths, for, he is indeed fluent in many tongues.

5) Despite popular opinion, he has never, not ever, worn the burgundy dress Miss Swann donned on the Black Pearl before walking the plank.

This only struck me after I'd posted the above responses and had a chat with someone. Replace #4 with:

They saw the ship go down, but Captain Jack Sparrow didn't really die that day. The Kraken took him, true enough, but he defeated the Kraken by eating his way out its side. It consequently died a slow, hemmorrhage-y death and Captain Jack was turned off calamari for life.

It's time to play "spot the crew member"!

1) Jayne better not be stowin' any notion o'wearin' that when we hold up the station, or I'll nya-aa-ah.... !

2) Aw, Jayne looks... still fierce-like, but sweet. Even if his Ma is colour-blind.

3) Jayne, you've finally joined the ranks of Real Men, it's a proud day for all of us, though my Hawaiian colours still out-man you. Bwahahaha!

4) I never even knew he had a family he was providing for, but this entire crew knows our fugitive tragedy; it's almost unfair.

5) Eugh, how crude - and yet, charming. There's real love in those threads, ha ha, he looks so proud. How could anyone hold it against him?
