Waiting would always be the worst part, though Jin was pleased to find himself coping better the second time around. Every time was more interminable than the last, like waiting on the deep breath before a cry and never being quite sure if your voice would hold when it finally came.

I have an exam tomorrow at 9AM ON A SATURDAY, so this is a fly-by update to apologise for the writing hiatus and those overdue drabble responses. This is another drabble I'd completely forgotten about, it jumps from scene to scene in reflection of my laziness. Once exams are over I'll address those drabbles and other challenges. Good luck to all with assessment!
